Civil Right's 60s

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY explores the history of the party, its people and its principles. This history is faithfully recorded and carefully conveyed via documentary films, living history reenactments and other signature programs to inform and inspire Society members, the general public and future generations.

“I do not want to go back to the past. I want to go back to the past way of facing the future.”
- President Ronald Reagan

THE PARTY, PEOPLE & PRINCIPLES…
The party of Lincoln has its patriarchs (Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Reagan, etc.); those sworn to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. While the Society seeks to spotlight this presidential leadership, we also illuminate local, lesser-known leaders of the Republican Party.

FAITHFULLY RECORDED…
The many episodes, and various outcomes, affected by the party’s people and principles must be faithfully recorded if our past is to fully inform our future.

“The Republican Party Historical Society is not so much about our past as it is about our future.”
- David Keene, American Conservative Union & NRA

CAREFULLY CONVEYED…
Living history reenactments deepen, and documentary films broaden, the understanding of our contemporary, 21st century audiences. Conveying Republican Party history in this manner serves to engage Society members and the general public.

THE SOCIETY…
The Society – a national, membership-driven, 501(c)3 organization – was founded on November 9, 2009 (the 20th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall) by a team organized by Randal Dietrich. It is the only Society of its kind in the country.

Five major initiatives (identified above) are currently underway. New initiatives will be added in the months ahead. We welcome your input on what elements of our past we should focus on in the future. Get involved today – send a link of this site to your friends & family, sign up to receive our monthly e-newsletter updates, become a member, contribute to our Life of the Party initiative and make a financial donation.

The national office is located in St Paul, Minnesota. Opportunities for regional state offices are being developed.
